Reported sighting of missing Charlotte on Shide path

There are unconfirmed reports that missing Charlotte Birch (nee Alder) has been spotted on Shide cycle track this afternoon
.
If anyone rides, cycles or walks in that direction and has noticed anything please contact the police.

A spokesman from Hamshire Constabulary said: “We’ve had quite a few reported sightings of Charlotte on a path between Matalan in Newport, Shide and towards Arreton. We know that this is a busy path used by cyclists. Did you see her at all?

“We’d also like to appeal to drivers with dash cam in their vehicles to check their footage if they’ve been out driving since yesterday afternoon and can share anything relevant with us.

“Anyone with information should contact the police on 101, quoting reference number 44190010676.”
