Nominations are announced for IW Chamber awards

Wightaid were winners at the IW Chamber Awards in 2024

The nominations have been unveiled for The Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2025.

The awards will be presented at Cowes Yacht Haven in May, with 40 Island businesses recognised in 59 nominations.

The annual awards ceremony is an important night in the Island’s business calendar and is presented with WRS Systems as headline sponsor for the first time. It will be hosted by media personality, entrepreneur and presenter Jamie Laing who will be joined on the line-up by singing star Kerry Ellis.

“We’re thrilled to present a really strong shortlist that once again showcases the cream of the Island’s business community,” explained IW Chamber Chief Executive Steven Holbrook.

“Once again, our nominees represent a wide range of businesses from across our community, of all sizes and sectors. After some years of economic uncertainty, it’s great to see some real consistency here, with some well recognised names returning to our shortlist, as well as welcoming many new businesses, either newly established or engaging with this event for the first time.”

“Our team of judges were really impressed by the quality of entries and have worked hard to select this shortlist. Our impartial judging panel is made up of 23 business experts, more than two thirds of which are based off Island, and some internationally. Our quality threshold is extremely
high, and all of the businesses have already done incredibly well to earn their nomination.”

Tickets are on sale now for the event and are available via iwchamber.co.uk. Nominated businesses will be prioritised for this high demand event.
