Newport’s Day of Christmas returns tomorrow (Saturday), from 11am to 6pm. Promising a free day of festive cheer, the Day of Christmas provides fun for all the family.
The indoor ice rink, inside Town Lane’s Parish Centre, is already fully booked, following the disappointment of last year’s event being cancelled because of bad weather.
The fun takes place in St James’ Square and St Thomas’ Square, and includes fairground rides, living statues, and special appearances by characters from Enchanted Isle.
Live entertainment will fill the day with performances from Maurice Kachuk, Huxley Magic, The Jimi & Anne Duet Show, Vectis Brass Band, The Starlight Academy and singer, Emelia.
