A favourite countryside event returns tomorrow (Saturday) with the annual IW Ploughing Match.
This year it will be held at Appleford Farm, just outside Godshill. From the Chequers Inn, near Rookley, head towards Niton and follow the signs to find the action.
Kicking off around 10am and running for approximately three hours until the winner will be announced, the event will showcase 33 skilled competitors demonstrating the timeless art of ploughing. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of trade stands, with refreshments also available.
Entry is by donation, with both cash and card accepted, with all proceeds after expenses going to support the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
