The countdown is underway for this year’s Inflatable Rainbow Run, the biggest annual fundraiser for Wessex Cancer Trust Isle of Wight.
The 3km family colour run, featuring 10 giant inflatables and five colour clouds, takes place at Sandown Airport on Sunday, July 28, and there are still a limited number of tickets available.
As well as four family-friendly fun waves, there is an opportunity for Island businesses to go head to head in the Corporate Cup, last year won by Morrisons in Newport. This year, corporate teams will be vying for a unique trophy made by Alum Bay Glass at The Needles.
Wessex Cancer Trust’s Community Engagement Manager, Lorraine White, said: “The success of last year’s debut event was phenomenal, the Isle of Wight has set the bar high and, this year, we’re hoping for more of the same.
