“He’s behind you!” Count Dracula is coming to Cowes

If you’re seeking a delightful mix of suspense, humour, and festive cheer this Christmas season, look no further than “Dracula – The Pantomime” at Trinity Theatre, Cowes. From the same talented troupe that has been charming audiences since 1897, the Cowes Amateur Operatic & Dramatic Society (CAODS) brings a gothic twist to the traditional pantomime, promising fun for the whole family.

This year, Count Dracula himself arrives in England, cloaked under the guise of the landlord, Major Artery, in pursuit of the key to his hoard of stolen treasure. However, his plans are soon thwarted by Duffy, the Vampire Slayer, her mother, Dame Plasma Van Helsing, and their friend, Rema Globin. This comedic tale unfolds with mock horror and heaps of tongue-in-cheek humour, that will have you laughing all the way to Transylvania!

Amanda Robertson, Secretary of Trinity, said, “I’ve seen the rehearsals and there’s a mass of energy. All the adults and children are amazing and having fun. I know this will transmit to audiences having a fun pantomime-time at Christmas… oh yes it will!”

Don’t miss out on this wonderful Christmas treat. Gather your family and friends and experience all the gothic mock horror and fun of “Dracula – The Pantomime.” Book now to avoid disappointment and secure your seats for a spellbinding adventure!
