Fire crews called to tumble dryer fire in Brading

1 min read

Crews from Ryde Fire Station and a duty officer were called out to a residential address in Lower Furlongs at 2.10 pm.

Firefighters donned breathing apparatus en-route to the incident, but fortunately did not have to enter the property to tackle the blaze.

Both appliances have now stood down from the incident and have returned to station. The fire was out on arrival, and no action has been taken by fire crews other than thorough inspection.
