14 year-old charged with assault and causing damage

A 14 year-old boy from the Isle of Wight has been charged with assault and causing damage at Sandown Pier on Boxing day.

The teenager, who can’t be named for legal reasons, also faces charges for a public order incident at the Co-Op supermarket in Newport on December 28 where baskets and signage were thrown around the store.

He is due to appear in Court later today.
