Magical princesses and crime-fighting heroes are making their way to Shanklin Chine on Sunday (Sept 17).
The characters from Enchanted Isle – Princess Parties will be making their way to the attraction from 11am. Little ones can meet Alice in Wonderland, Spiderman, Rapunzel, Captain America, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), and Elsa throughout the afternoon.
Jo Porter, operations manager, said: “We want to keep adding to the experience that is Shanklin Chine. We started with our Hallowe’en event a couple of years ago – which is going ahead again this year from October 13; watch this space. We then added the mighty dinosaurs, we have regular live music and now we have superheroes and princesses.”
Shanklin Chine encourages you to bring your children in full costume to meet their idols, and don’t forget to take lots of pictures and tag the Chine in as many as you can.
Standard entry fees to Shanklin Chine apply and all include free returns within seven days, plus Islanders receive 10 per cent off tickets with proof of address. There will also be live jazz in the Chine every Wednesday and Saturday throughout September.
There is still no direct access to the Chine from the top entrance; the alternative entrance is via the Esplanade.
