Return of the ever-popular Cider and Cheese Festival

The Isle of Wight Steam Railway’s annual ‘Cider & Cheese Festival’ returns to Havenstreet this weekend, and there is free entry to celebrate all things cider, cheese & steam.

This popular event will be enlivened this year, with live music in the barn from 2nd Time Around on Saturday, and Witches Promise on Sunday, following their well-received performances at the recent Island Steam Fair.

There are more than 30 ciders and a huge variety of cheeses to choose from, and bars are open from 11am until 5pm. If you can’t decide on just one cheese, then pick a platter to enjoy with crunchy pickles and crackers – washed down perfectly with a pint of cider.

Entry to the attraction is free, so make the most of your day and enjoy the steam railway’s interactive Train Story Museum, carriage and wagon workshops, Railway Shop and Artefacts Museum.

Usual operating day fares apply if you wish to board the steam train.
