Businesses get behind improving accessibility

Island businesses are becoming increasingly involved in supporting accessibility, making it a better and more inclusive place to be for both Island residents and visitors.

Jan Brookes, CEO of the charity Isle Access, is encouraged by progress on this within the business community: “Businesses on the Island are beginning to make real strides in thinking about accessibility and how that improves things practically for their customers.“

Financial support from businesses enables Isle Access to promote the importance of accessibility on the Island.

David Coyle from Enterprise Cars is pictured presenting Jan Brookes with a cheque for £1,000 as a grant from the Enterprise Holdings Foundation. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Enterprise Holdings, which operates as Enterprise Cars. Second hand book sale revenues from Tesco contributed another £228.
