Breezing along the bay stunning coastal charm

Islanders and visitors alike can now enjoy a fresh way to experience the Island’s glorious coastline, thanks to Southern Vectis’ brand new Sea Breezer service.

The new open-top route runs between Ryde, Canoe Lake, Puckpool Park and Seaview, offering eight round trips a day throughout the summer.

“We’re thrilled to introduce our new Sea Breezer service,” said Southern Vectis general manager, Richard Tyldsley. “Following a recent review and valuable customer feedback, we’ve created a route that highlights some of the most scenic spots along the coast.”

Operated mostly by open top buses, the Sea Breezer will also feature on board commentary, bringing local history and landmarks to life as passengers travel.

“This part of the Island is particularly beautiful, and we’re expecting high visitor numbers over the summer,” added Mr Tyldsley. “We’re proud to offer a fun and informative way for people to explore it.”

While the Sea Breezer is not part of the government’s £3 Help for Households fare cap, prices remain affordable, with return fares set at £4.10 for adults, £3.40 for young adults, and £2.80 for children.
