Bembidge No 8 café organised a mini-army of beach cleaner volunteers to clean up part of Bembridge beach to kick start 2019.
The café found it “very scary” to see how much rubbish they had collected in the space of an hour.
The organisers would like to thank all those who helped to collect the rubbish and hope the New Year’s Day beach clean will become an annual Bembridge tradition.
