A two-year-old has been released from a locked car in Freshwater.
Fire crews were called to Fort Victoria County Park near Yarmouth on Friday (August 3) following reports that a two-year-old child was locked in a car.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at 12.20pm.
By the time they had arrived, the parents had smashed the window of the vehicle and freed the toddler.
A spokesman for Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: “The child was let out before the Firefighters could get there. We were called at 12.20pm.”
