Police officers were called to McDonald’s on Tuesday afternoon following further reports of public order offences being committed outside the fast food restaurant
A number of police units, including two vans, were seen outside the Newport store at around 4.30 this afternoon (January 22) .
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary confirmed two people were detained for public order offences and are currently being processed.
UPDATED January 23: Two 16-year-olds were arrested for public order offences, but have been released without charge.
