Two ‘bundles of joy’ arrived at St. Mary’s Hospital on Christmas Day, 2018. Logan Thorpe, a son for Kaiser Dibbens and Daniel Thorpe of Ryde, weighed in at 7lb 3oz (3.31kgs) and was born at 01:28hrs. Second to arrive was Axel Sellen-Salt, a son for Abigail Sellen and Anthony Salt of Freshwater, weighing in at 7lb 4oz (3.35kgs) and born at 12:26 hrs.
Maggie Oldham, Chief Executive of Isle of Wight NHS Trust, said: “Congratulations to both sets of parents on the arrival of their baby boys. Christmas is a very special time in the Maternity Unit and I am grateful to our staff who agreed to work across all services during the Christmas period.”
