In the Hampshire Senior Cup, Cowes won 3-0 away at Romsey, with goals from Finley Phillips, Will Bridi and Scott McFarlane. East Cowes Vics won 4-1 at home to Folland Sports, thanks to first-half strikes from Harrison Yates (penalty), Jayden Yates and Jacob Reynolds (2), with both clubs in the second round draw.
In IW Division One, Ventnor won 8-1 at home to Bembridge, with 5 goals from Emerson Tattersall, 2 from Liam Harper and 1 from Charlie Urry. Binstead drew at home for Cowes Res 1-1, with Rafiz Wightwick scoring for the visitors. Early leaders, Brading, won 4-0 at home to West Wight, with goals from Liam Bennett, Ellis Lomas, skipper, Dan Vale, and sub, Isaac Glynn.
In Combination One, Shanklin Res recovered from a first-half Ventnor Res goal from Jack Turner, to win 5-2, with goals from Jamie Trowbridge, Ryan Hill (2), ‘Miko’ Mikolajec and sub, Dan Drudge. West Wight Res won 6-1 at home to Binstead COB Res, thanks to a Jordan Flynn hat-trick, and 1 apiece from Jason Moore, George Saunders and Ollie Carey.
