By Isle of Wight ObserverFollowing reports of a rock being thrown at a car with a baby inside by a group of youths on Sunday (January 6), a woman has given an account of a similar attack on her one-year-old baby.
The rock was thrown on Carisbrooke Road, Newport, yesterday afternoon (January 7), by a group of teenagers towards her baby, when her husband was taking their dog for a walk, accompanied by their baby in a buggy.
This incident occurred at around 4 pm in the afternoon, and the culprit is thought to have been from a group of three boys and three girls, aged around 13 to 14 years old.
Fortunately, the child escaped injury in the attack.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is encouraged to phone the police on 101.
