Ryde Christmas Eve call out for air ambulance

An air ambulance was summoned to Ryde on Christmas Eve after reports of an
85-year-old woman suffering a heart attack.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service said the Hampshire and Isle of
Wight Air Ambulance attended the scene at an address in the Ryde area,
together with a land ambulance, at around 2.30 pm.
The helicopter then took the elderly woman to the Queen Alexandra
Hospital in Portsmouth.
