Rescue teams search for man on rocks in Ryde

The Ventnor Coastguard Rescue team were called out in the early hours of Saturday morning (March 16) following reports of a person in distress on the rocks on Ryde Harbour

Tasked by National Maritime Operations Centre, a full search was undertaken with Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Team and Ryde Inshore Rescue but nothing found.

Both teams stood down and returned to base following the search.
