An evening of classical music under the stars will return to Robin Hill tomorrow (Saturday) as Classic Isle presents Proms ’26.
Following the success of last year’s event, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra will once again headline the open-air concert, performing a programme of much-loved Proms favourites, in the park’s 88 acres of countryside.
The evening opens with performances by soprano, Thea Callaghan, pianist, Thomas Luke, and violinist, Lizzie Ball, before the full orchestra takes to the stage.
Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and settle in for an evening of live music, with local food and drink vendors on site throughout the event. A spectacular fireworks display will bring the concert to a close.
Gates open at 5pm, with the event finishing at around 9.30pm. Robin Hill’s tractor train will be available for those who need assistance, while free parking, including accessible spaces, is also provided.
VIP tickets and pre-order gourmet hampers are also available in limited numbers.
The following evening (Sunday) the orchestra will perform scores from the silver screen, with A Night at the Movies.
The event forms part of Classic Isle’s 2026 concert series, which is raising money for Mountbatten Isle of Wight and WightAID, supporting the charities’ work across the Island.
