Last Thursday Priory School’s Year 9 basketball team took part in the U-14 IW Basketball League at Medina College.
Having won all of their group games, the semi-final 9-0 and the final 8-0, the Priory School team are now Island champions.
“To say I am thrilled is an understatement!” said Miss Mildenhall, the school’s sports co-ordinator. “The skill and determination of this team were commendable. They worked together so well, communicating and supporting each other on and off the court.
They truly deserved this win and should be incredibly proud of themselves.”
