A suspected drug dealer was arrested following an early morning raid at a residential property in Newport today (Friday).
Police executed a planned warrant at an address in John Street shortly before 7am.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession, supply of a class A drug, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
