Platform One going from strength to strength

Described as the jewel in the crown of island education Platform One College of Music just keeps going from strength to strength. Curriculum is forward thinking and based around employability.

Platform One has been running higher education programmes for the last 15 years on the Island. It is noteworthy that this is the only full-time undergraduate programme to ever run on the Island. Platform One work in partnership with University of Chichester whom validate all of the undergraduate and post graduate programmes.

Henri Davis graduated from the BA (Hons) Commercial Music, which is developed and run by Platform One and is now working full time at Livingston Studios in North London. His client base has already included Sam Smith who nominated at this year’s Brit awards as Best Britsih Male Solo artist.

Henri, who grew up in Cowes commented: “Platform One gave me a great foundation and skill, which I still use on a daily basis in the studio and was the place that gave me my love of recording music.”

“We are so proud of the achievements of our graduates. The music industry is a highly competitive and challenging industry. Henri has the skills, the knowledge, the drive, the ambition and the motivation to succeed. He always knew when to work hard and to ask questions.

“We are thrilled that Henri is working at such a prestigious recording studio. We look forward to welcoming him back to Platform one to run a masterclass’.
