Shanklin Theatre presents its own production this month, ‘Out of Sight, Out of Murder,’ by Fred Carmichael.
Peter Knight is a successful author, who has rented an old house in a remote part of Cornwall, in which to work on his latest dramatic creation.
On one wild and stormy night, however, he is stuck for inspiration.
While he is pondering over where to take his characters next, the decision is taken out of his hands as, one by one, each of them comes to life, creating their own drama over which he has virtually no control.
What follows is a comic mix of confusion, murder and intrigue, with material and spirit worlds interacting, and occasionally colliding, in a clever twist on the traditional ‘Whodunit…’.
Catch the show on April 8-10, from 7.30pm, and an extra performance at 2.30pm on April 9.
Buy tickets on-line from the Shanklin Theatre website for £13.50.
