1 min read

Did you know you can speak to a member of Newport police stations staff face to face to report a crime?

The front counter at Newport police station is open seven days a week, including on bank holidays, and can be accessed between the hours listed below if you want to come and report something:

Monday to Saturday: 9 am – 6 pm
Sunday: 9.30am – 6pm
Bank Holidays: 10 am – 6 pm.

Please note, it is closed between 1 pm and 2 pm every day.

You can of course still telephone 101 to a report a non-emergency crime or incident, or you can now report incidents to us online. Simply visit www.hampshire.police.uk and select the ‘Report’ tab at the top.

In the event of an emergency, always telephone 999.

For more information on when to use the 999 and 101 numbers, please visit: https://www.hampshire.police.uk/police-forces/hampshire-constabulary/areas/campaigns/2018/999-in-an-emergency/
