Around 45 motorcyclists took part in the second Lance Daish Memorial Ride-Out on Saturday.
Lance, 51, died following a collision near his home in Shalfleet, on August 11, 2022, and his son, Keetan, 23, organised the event to support Hants & IW Air Ambulance.
Keetan, from Whitwell, said: “We started at Blackgang Chine, went along the Military Road, through Freshwater and Yarmouth and past Shalfleet, where dad died, before moving on to the IW Community Club in Cowes.
“The numbers of riders were slightly down on last year, but there were a load of family and friends back at the club for the reception.
“We also organised a big raffle, so we’re hoping that, when everything is added up, we will raise around £1,300. The Air Ambulance volunteers were also at the club to support us and said it was the best event they had attended all year.
“I’m already planning for next year, when we will be riding out on August 9, so save the date!”
Lance’s widow, Lisa, thanked people for attending and was supported by children, Keetan and Kelly, and Keetan’s father-in-law, Scott Anderson, on the stage during the raffle.
As well as the proceeds of the ride-out and raffle, there are also a number of collection boxes which are being returned to the charity unopened.
