Mandy Powell, a veteran Wren, is on a nationwide search for ladies who joined the WRNS (Women’s Royal Naval Service) between 1946 and 1981.
As for every military unit, their history is vital and the men and women who serve are rightfully proud of it.
WRNS History, in the form of historic divisional ledgers, went missing in the ’90s (now feared destroyed) and Maggie is trying to recreate them, but in a digital format for the ease of researchers.
