Members of Shanklin Voluntary Youth & Community Centre have received a £250 grant from Yar Valley Lodge, to support the extended programme of activities provided at the wholly-voluntary youth centre, now in its 30th year.
The centre offers activities including table tennis, exercise groups, martial arts, carnival projects, and healthy lifestyle sessions for all ages, alongside TC’s, the youth club.
Voluntary leader, Mark Biddlecombe, said: “Thanks to the Lodge for their support. It makes a real difference to grassroots clubs and groups like ours. Coinciding with our 30th anniversary on Make A Difference Day 2026, the grant recognises the dedication of everyone involved at the club.”
