Isle of Wight Half Marathon takes place on Sunday

Sunday sees the annual running of the Isle of Wight Half Marathon, with the 21km (13 mile) event starting at 11am from Appley Park.

The route covers Ryde, Bullen Lane, Goddard’s Farm Lane, Attrill’s Lane, Nettlestone and a return to Bullen Lane for the start of the next lap. The runners will then go down Goddard’s Farm Lane through to Whitefield Woods, then Carpenters Road in St Helens then back along a gravel track to Goddard’s Farm Lane, Appley and finally back to the finish line in Ryde.
