A group of young dancers from the Island took to a West End stage last week after performing at London’s Shaftesbury Theatre.
Thirteen dancers from Creationz Dance Academy travelled to the capital to perform at the iconic venue on Saturday, December 21, marking a memorable moment for the school and its students.
For many of the dancers, it was their first experience performing in a West End theatre. Principal Zoe Langridge said she was proud of everyone involved, praising the teamwork and commitment shown on stage.
One of the performers, Brooklyn Bowley, described the experience as unforgettable, saying dancing in a West End theatre was exciting and that the group supported one another throughout the day.
Creationz Dance Academy works with dancers of all ages and abilities, focusing on building confidence alongside performance skills. The Shaftesbury Theatre appearance provided an opportunity for students to perform in a professional setting and gain experience beyond the Island.
