Island accountancy business owner wins prestigious award

Lucy Johnson, owner of Isle Book-keep recently won Sole Practitioner of the Year, at Xero’s prestigious annual awards, held in London. The awards showcased the achievements of those supporting businesses through two of the toughest years on record.

Accountants, book-keepers and the app industry have played a huge role in guiding small business clients through the pandemic and supporting the wider economy.

Isle Book-keep was established in April 2021 by Lucy. Over the past 12 months, she has worked to grow the business and support business owners across the UK with book-keeping and accountancy to help their businesses grow. Isle Book-keep has been a finalist in four awards in the last 12 months, with the spotlight on their environmental impact.

The business plants trees as they get clients, as well as reducing the need to print paperwork.

Lucy has appeared on expert Accountancy panels throughout the year on YouTube.
