Right at Home presents the Independent Living Show (formerly the Older Person’s Good Living Show), taking place on July 5. This year it is supported by Age UK, Isle of Wight.
Now in its third year, the Independent Living Show showcases businesses, charities and services available to aid living independently in your own home for longer.
With a range of stall-holders joining this year, including food, well-being, podiatry, finance guidance, fitness, gardening, plus lots more.
The show this year is at GG’s, Island Riding Centre, in Newport. Doors open at 11am until 3pm. Ample parking is available and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. All are welcome to peruse the stalls, chat with exhibitors, gather information and pick up some freebies.
There will be hands-on demos, pamper sessions and goody bags available. Enjoy a cuppa in the on-site café or an ice cream, with a countryside view. This year, they also have equine therapy demonstrations and Southern Vectis will take along a bus.
Entrance to the Independent Living Show is free and every attendee will receive an information directory to take home.
Right at Home is an award-winning Home Care business, supporting clients living in their own homes safely and confidently. All aspects of care are provided, including companionship and personal care.
They hope to see lots of people at the show and provide the community with information and a fun day out.
