HSS Isle of Wight has traffic light batteries stolen AGAIN

Isle of Wight HSS and Traffic Management has had more traffic light batteries stolen.

The company took to Facebook on Monday (November 5) to ask members of the public to call police on 101 if they have any information.

The hire company’s Harding Shute site in Ryde was previously targeted in July with traffic light batteries worth £540 stolen.

HSS denounced the act as being “dangerous to motorists”.

Hampshire Constabulary say nine batteries were taken overnight on November 4.

Two locations were targeted, one at Main Road in Yarmouth and another at Military Road, at the junction with Marsh Green, in Brighstone.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting 44180415567.
