Two hundred Island members of Girlguiding attended a special screening of The Little Mermaid recently.
From Rainbows aged 4 to Rangers aged 18 and their leaders enjoyed the Disney remake of a classic story as part of a national initiative.
The venue for the special screening was the Commodore Cinema in Ryde.
Linda Stone, Girlguiding’s Island commissioner, said: “All the girls have had the opportunity to meet with others outside their own units. Some were amazed how many Rainbows, Brownies and Guides there are on the Island.“
Girlguiding Isle of Wight welcomes new members; you can get in touch through iow.life/guidecontact.
