Get ready for a great day out at Wolverton Manor

The Island’s largest garden fair is back this September, offering an unique chance to see many of the Island’s animal attractions in one place. While known for its high quality nurseries and gardenalia stalls, Wolverton Manor Garden Fair also welcomes many furry and feathered friends each year.

Wolverton’s ‘Hare Garden’ is a hidden gem, where you can see the delightful West Wight Alpacas. The Falconry Experience will display their beautiful birds of prey, and provide live demonstrations.

There will be Ability Dogs 4 Young People’s demonstrations running throughout the day, alongside Barking Mad’s agility shows.

Nearby, Snostoppin’ Huskies offer children the chance to enjoy ‘hugging a huskie’.

The much-loved IW Poultry tent will be making a return. Local obedience group, Barking Mad, will host a fun dog show, featuring categories such as ‘Handsomest Mutt’, ‘Best Bad Hair Day’, ‘Dog Who Looks Most Like Its Owner’, and crowd favourite, ‘Waggiest Tail’. The dog show starts at 3.15pm each day in the Country & Moat Field.

Wolverton Manor Garden Fair is a dog-friendly event. Furry friends on a lead are welcome, but take extra care in the Hare Garden, due to the presence of many local animals.

The fair offers fun and entertainment for the whole family, with live shows, re-enactments, children’s activities, and displays running throughout both days, alongside over 170 garden and craft exhibitors showcasing their wares.
