The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have tackled a fire in a Rover in Northwood this evening, (Wednesday, January 2).
Firefighters were alerted to the incident near the county showground on the main road between Newport and Cowes at just before 5pm. A single fire engine from Newport attended the scene.
Firefighters were obliged to don breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze, which had been extinguished by the Newport crew by 6 pm.
