Fire crews called to St Mary’s Hospital

Fire crews from the Isle of Wight fire and rescue service have been mobilised to St Mary’s Hospital to the a smell of burning. Crews from Ryde along with Newports pump and their aerial ladder have been mobilised to the incident.
Staff at the site called the service following a smell of burning. Following investigation the smell was traced to a bonfire nearby. Crews have now left the site.
