East Cowes Co-op firearms arrest released without charge

An East Cowes man has been released without charge after he was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm or imitation firearm.

Police are still investigating the incident which saw the 33-year-old rushed by officers outside Co-op in York Avenue, East Cowes, before 7.30pm on November 23.

He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug.
