Drink driver arrested by police in Newport

A male driver who blew almost 3 times over the legal drink drive limit was arrested by Police in the centre of Newport on Sunday evening (March 10).
Officers stopped a red Renault Clio on Orchard Street just before 6pm.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving without a licence, driving without third party insurance, driving a vehicle without an MOT and on suspicion of drink driving having blown 101 at the roadside. The legal limit is 35.
