A charity car wash held in Freshwater has raised an impressive £400 for the Fire Fighters Charity
Fire crews spent Sunday afternoon washing over 40 cars for the charity that exist to support the everyday heroes of the UK fire community.
A spokesperson for Freshwater fire station said: “Thank you so much to all of the beautiful kind people that came and supported our charity car wash in Freshwater and especially to all the children that chipped in with hosing and rinsing.
“With your kind donations we raised a whopping £400 for The Fire Fighters Charity and washed over 40 vehicles. Thank you to Rapanui for the use of the car park and to The Freshwater Coffee House for refreshments.”
