Blackgang Chine, the UK’s oldest theme park, has announced Wight Aid as its official charity partner for the 2025 season.
Following the success of last year’s initiative, where spare change tossed into the park’s Rumpus Mansion Fountain was collected and donated, Blackgang Chine will once again be supporting Wight Aid.
This year, the park is also introducing a new facility on its booking website, allowing guests to easily add a small donation to Wight Aid when purchasing tickets on-line.
Wight Aid supports a wide range of charities and community projects across the Island, ensuring that funds raised have the broadest possible impact.
“We’re delighted to partner with Wight Aid,” said Dominic Wray, managing director at Blackgang Chine. “Our visitors’ generosity, whether by tossing coins into the fountain, or adding an on-line donation, will go a long way in supporting vital causes across the Island. We’re proud to play a part in giving back to the community that means so much to us.”
