Bembridge defibrillator damaged

A defibrillator has been pulled out of its box and left with the adult contact pad on the ground in Bembridge on Friday (December 21).

As a result, the defibrillator became soaking wet. The ambulance service has been contacted to come and service the device and make sure it’s in full working order in case it is required for use.

The defibrillator had previously been used on August 30, when a dog walker suffered a suspected heart attack.
