Outdoor theatre is always a treat, so make sure you don’t miss ‘As you like it’ performed by the Lord Chamberlain’s Men.
Quay Arts is presenting this much-loved play at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway on Wednesday evening. The Lord Chamberlain’s Men are one of the UK’s finest touring theatre companies. They present this great romantic comedy as Shakespeare first saw it performed – in the open air, by an all-male cast and with Elizabethan costumes, music and dance.
To make the most of this unique theatrical experience, audiences are encouraged to bring a chair, a picnic and a glass of something chilled as the show promises to be an authentic, excellent and magical treat.
See ‘As You Like It’ at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway in Havenstreet, on Wednesday (June 1). Doors open at 6pm, on stage at 7pm. Tickets are priced at £17 for adults and £10 for under-16s.
