Air ambulance scrambled after medical emergency in East Cowes

A man from East Cowes has sadly passed away this afternoon (January 9) following what was understood to be a heart attack.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight ambulance landed in Cowes on Tuesday afternoon to assist with the medical emergency.
The helicopter landed at on the property belonging to Red Ensign at around 2.30pm.
It’s understood the air ambulance crew was providing CPR to a resident who lived nearby. Sadly emergency crews were unable to resuscitate him.
