A sweet treat for frontline NHS staff on the Island

Frontline NHS staff at St Mary’s hospital were given a sweet surprise this week – as a leading island business made a special delivery.

Coastline Home Improvements (a division of the Joedan Group), which manufactures and supplies bespoke windows and doors to the consumer and commercial market, hand delivered a hamper of luxury chocolates to NHS staff and carers at the Isle of Wight hospital as a token of appreciation for the incredible work done during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vanessa Flower, Head of Quality Governance at St Mary’s Hospital said: “We are extremely grateful for the lovely donation from the team at Joedan Group. The staff at St Mary’s have been working exceptionally hard and we are sure that this spectacular hamper will go down very well!”

Carol Colson, Marketing Manager at the Joedan Group added: “Everyone across the entire Joedan Group recognises the incredible work carried out by the staff at St Mary’s and we wanted to play a small part in helping to lift their spirits during this difficult time.

“The Joedan Group, including our Isle of Wight branch, is currently still operating with staff safely working from home. We are in awe of the dedicated key workers who continue to put themselves on the frontline every day to help combat this awful disease and wish to express our sincere gratitude.”
