The Vectis Vintage Tractor & Engine Club held its latest ride-out for charity, on Sunday, to raise hundreds of pounds for the IW Prostate Cancer Support Group.
Around 25 tractors took to the roads from Arreton Barns, after a breakfast at the Dairyman’s Daughter with their journey taking in St Helens, Bembridge, Sandown, Shanklin and onto the finish at Niton.
The club’s secretary and rally organiser, Bernie Kemp, said: “It has taken a couple of months of organising. Myself, and my husband, Julian, and David Milsom, have spent a lot of time sorting out the route to make sure it was right for everyone taking part.
“After breakfast we headed to Brown’s at Sandown where we stopped for some tea and cake made by our women members. Then it was onwards to The Green at St Helens. We had put up lots of posters along the way and there were hundreds of people there to greet us. It was so lovely to see so many there.
“It’s great to see so many vintage tractors on the road, as we don’t allow the more modern ones to take part, and it was another fabulous day. We had our collecting buckets out and we hope to raise several hundred pounds for prostate awareness.”
