£5 Islander entry at Amazon World

A slow lori

Amazon World Zoo Park is offering Island residents the chance to enjoy a winter day-out for just £5 per person throughout January. The special Islander offer applies to all local visitors, with children under the age of two admitted free of charge. The park is open daily from 10am to 4pm, and visitors are reminded to bring suitable ID for all adults to qualify for the reduced entry price.

Located near Arreton, Amazon World is home to a wide range of species from South America and other tropical regions. Visitors can see animals including lemurs, marmosets, armadillos, tamanduas and giant anteaters, as well as colourful birds and reptiles housed within indoor rainforest environments that make the attraction particularly appealing during the colder months.

Daily animal talks and encounters offer the chance to learn more about the zoo’s residents, with keepers sharing information about habitats, diets and conservation work.

As well as animal exhibits, the park features a large outdoor adventure playground, the ever-popular indoor soft play area ‘Monkey Madness’, a café serving hot food and drinks, and a gift shop.

The £5 Islander promotion makes the zoo an affordable choice for families, couples or anyone looking for something different to do after the festive season, offering a relaxed day-out surrounded by exotic wildlife close to home. Visit iw.observer/amazon-world for more information.
