A successful eight days of fun and games for the 110th Yarmouth Carnival came to an end with the parade last Saturday.
A procession of floats and walking entries, along with the sheriffs from Hill Farm Stables, eased their way around town cheered on by crowds lining the streets.
The procession was led by Vectis Corps of Drums and the Hants & IW Army Cadets and Fat Samba Band, while Tallulah Mears was announced as the new Spirit of Carnival for next year.
It capped a fun-filled week, which started with a fun run and included decorated dinghies, cycling skills, crabbing, treasure hunt, a dog and pet show, Teddy Bear’s picnic, fishing, river sports and pirates on the pier.
