Win a pair of tickets to an evening with trusted advisor and personal friend of Mother Teresa, Jim Towey, including a two-course meal. Everyone attending will also receive a copy of the book ’To Love And Be Loved: A Personal Portrait of Mother Teresa’.
Mother Teresa and her helpers built homes for orphans, nursing homes for lepers, and hospices for the terminally ill, in Calcutta. Her organisation, the Missionaries of Charity, then went on to undertake aid work in other parts of the world. As a result, Mother Teresa is one of the most admired women of the twentieth century.
Jim Towey read at her Mass of Canonisation in 2016, when she was declared a saint, and he founded the non-profit organisation ‘Ageing with Dignity’. This is a unique opportunity to hear the thoughts and reflections of one of those closest to Mother Teresa.
